The tasks and duties of the Plant QA/QC Inspector includes (but notlimited) to the following: Prepare QA/QC documents (Quality plan, Inspection & Test plan,QA/QC procedure, WPS, Welder qualification record, OperatingProcedures, Method Statements etc.) related to modification,repair or maintenance project works. Prepare QA/QC documents required for Shutdown planning, reviewwork packs from shutdown team, identify and perform criticalmaterial inspections prior to shut down, perform inspections andprovide support during shutdown execution, including for discoveryrepair works on equipment and piping. Perform and ensure stage-wise inspections forrepair/modification/replacement jobs undertaken in the plant,including material inspection, PMI, witness of pressure tests,provide inputs for Risk Screening, Formal Risk Assessments,evaluate deviations request for hydrotest waivers, etc. Perform valve inspection, review MTC and requirements withrespect to asset specification, witness valve testing at Workshop orContractors shop and prepare Valve Test Reports. Review Contractor QA/QC documentation related to job/ projectperformed for maintenance. Perform inspection at site, warehouse and at the CONTRACTORpremises on purchased or rented received material or equipmentsuch as valves, piping, gaskets, fittings, heat exchangers, pressurevessels, lifting equipment, gas cylinders, etc., to check conformitywith purchase orders and specifications requirement. Co-ordinate for required NDT, call off RT crew, review NDT reports,interpret RT films, review PWHT charts & records, Prepare QA/QC reports for the jobs performed with details/picturesand maintain proper records/logs. Should be conversant with Meridium (for QA/QC reportpreparation), and SAP (for material and Work order details). Interpret applicable material standards, specification, technicaldata sheets, project specifications, and P.O. requirements etc. toevaluate the acceptance of
