This involves troubleshooting problems, replacing defective parts, and ensuring that machinery is safe and reliable for use.- **Parts Replacement:** Identify when parts need to be repaired or replaced and procure the necessary components. This ensures that repairs are completed promptly and effectively, minimizing downtime.- **Documentation:** Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work done on equipment. This documentation is important for tracking the condition of machines and planning future maintenance schedules.- **Collaboration:** Work closely with other mechanics and team members to share knowledge and assist in complex repair tasks. Teamwork is essential for efficiently completing repairs and ensuring machinery is ready for operation.You should have 3 to 8 years of experience in heavy equipment mechanics and a 10th-grade education.
