Job Purpose:To perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all types of heavy equipment powered by diesel engines, with a strong focus on diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systemsKey Responsibilities & Duties:Diesel Engine Maintenance: Diagnose mechanical in heavy equipment diesel engines, and perform overhauls and routine maintenance.Hydraulic Systems: Inspect, repair, and maintain hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves, and hoses; troubleshoot oil leaks and pressure drops.Powertrain & Suspension Repair: Maintain and repair transmissions (gearboxes), differentials, braking systems, and steering mechanisms.Salary : up to 2500 SAR

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of construction and heavy machinery. Your primary responsibilities will include:- Routine Maintenance: Perform regular checks on equipment to ensure they are in good working condition, including oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections. This helps in preventing breakdowns and prolonging the life of the machinery.- Repairs: Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in heavy equipment, such as excavators, bulldozers, and cranes. This involves troubleshooting problems, replacing defective parts, and ensuring that machinery is safe and reliable for use.- Parts Replacement: Identify when parts need to be repaired or replaced and procure the necessary components. This ensures that repairs are completed promptly and effectively, minimizing downtime.- Documentation: Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work done on equipment. This documentation is important for tracking the condition of machines and planning future maintenance schedules.- Collaboration: Work closely with other mechanics and team members to share knowledge and assist in complex repair tasks. Teamwork is essential for efficiently completing repairs and ensuring machinery is ready for operation.You should have 3 to 8 years of experience in heavy equipment mechanics and a 10th-grade education. You must be skilled in diagnosing mechanical issues, be proficient with tools and machinery, and demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities. Good communication skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are also important for success in this role.
