Tasks and duties include the following, but not limited to:The purpose of the QC Lead Inspector is to verify the suitability of productsand processes against the designated specification requirements atscheduled and ad-hoc intervals. The role is applicable to brownfield andgreenfield projects. The candidate shall have a thorough Knowledge ofASTM, BS & Qatar Construction Specifications and extensive experience inonshore inspections and testing of Structural Concrete, Earthworks andBuildings Finishing Works Engage contractors and applicable third-party organisations with aprofessional approach and maintain a good working levelrelationship. Fully conversant with Qatargas discipline specific, facility relatedtechnical specification requirements. Review contractors documented quality deliverables in accordancewith the requirements and expectations of Qatargas and provideclear, concise output to the applicable quality focal point. Evaluate the suitability of products and processes at key stagesagainst the prescribed specification requirements. Continuously monitor the quality of works in progress at site and atconcrete pouring locations against the applicable Qatargas technicalspecifications. Ensure that contractor processes and procedures are properly andeffectively implemented. Perform material site receipt inspection with additional visual anddimensional examination (where practical) to confirm suitability andfit for purpose. Ensure that the latest revision of project quality documentation isavailable and that records of product and process conformance aremaintained in accordance with the document and record controlrequirements. Prepare a daily report summarizing the salient inspection points andquality concerns and coordinate directly with the assigned qualityfocal point regarding any significant issues identified.
