role summary:
we are seeking dynamic and technically sound sales executives and sales managers to drive business growth across assigned regions. the ideal candidate will possess a strong technical understanding of engineering polymers, particularly polyamides, and a proven ability to convert leads into long-term business relationships.
key responsibilities:
for both roles (sales executive & sales manager):
identify and develop new business opportunities in the engineering plastics segment.
promote and sell compounded polymers such as nylon 6, nylon 66, pbt, and other engineering thermoplastics.
manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation, customer presentations, technical discussions, to order closure.
maintain strong relationships with oems, tier 1 suppliers, distributors, and converters.
provide feedback to r&d and technical teams regarding customer requirements and product performance.
monitor competitor activities and market trends.
prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and customer visit plans.
additional responsibilities for sales manager:
lead and mentor a team of sales executives in the region.
strategize and execute region-wise business development plans.
handle key accounts and negotiate high-value contracts.
coordinate with cross-functional departments such as production, qa/qc, r&d, and logistics.
set sales targets, monitor team performance, and implement corrective actions where needed.
key skills and requirements:
sound knowledge of polymer compounding, particularly polyamides (nylon 6/66) and pbt.
technical acumen to understand and discuss polymer specifications, mechanical properties, and applications.
strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
self-driven, result-oriented, and target-focused mindset.
proficiency in crm tools, ms excel, and powerpoint.
educational qualification:
./ in polymer engineering / chemical engineering / plastics technology
mba in marketing (preferred for sales manager role)
