responsibilities:
1. new business development:
. lead new business development for a specific region/industry.
. create cross-sale and up sell opportunities with the existing client base in the region/industry.
. identify challenges pertaining to the procurement function of existing & new clients and suggest possible solutions, thereby creating cross & new selling opportunities.
2. lead generation and prospecting:
. build leads & prospects through references, linkedin connects, and social networks.
. pursue leads created by the internal sales team.
3. sales presentations and proposals:
. develop and deliver sales presentations to clients.
. create proposals, follow up on submissions, and close business.
4. market analysis and strategy development:
. analyse market & client scenarios.
. suggest strategies to effectively position the value propositions of the company.
