Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Field Executive to support our on-ground operations related to crop insurance, agricultural field surveys, and livestock insurance. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in conducting field activities, verifying claims, collecting data, and liaising with farmers and local authorities to ensure seamless execution of insurance-related services.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct field surveys for crop and livestock insurance assessments.
Verify insurance claims by collecting and documenting field-level data.
Coordinate with farmers, local bodies, and stakeholders for claim verification and enrollment.
Collect and validate documents such as land records, farmer ID proofs, photographs, and related reports.
Identify and report crop damage, livestock mortality, and other insured risks as per guidelines.
Ensure timely and accurate data collection using mobile applications or physical forms.
Participate in awareness campaigns and drive enrollment of farmers into insurance schemes.
Maintain proper documentation and submit daily/weekly reports to the reporting manager.
Work closely with internal teams, insurance partners, and government departments to streamline operations.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 10+2 or Diploma in Agriculture / Veterinary / Rural Development (preferred).
Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, or related fields is an advantage.
1-3 years of experience in field operations, crop/livestock insurance, or agricultural surveys.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of rural/agricultural ecosystems and farming practices.
Familiarity with crop and livestock insurance schemes (PMFBY, etc.).
Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with farmers and stakeholders.
Basic smartphone and GPS usage skills; ability to use mobile applications.
Willingness to travel extensively in rural areas.
Problem-solving attitude and ability to work independently on field tasks.
Other Requirements:
Two-wheeler and valid driving license (mandatory).
Ability to work in outdoor and field conditions for extended hours.
Local language proficiency is highly desirable.
