key responsibilities:
develop tailored outbound itineraries with a focus on client preferences, seasonality, and destination logistics
manage end-to-end tour planning, including flights, hotels, transfers, visas, travel insurance, and sightseeing
collaborate with global dmcs, tourism boards, and local partners for seamless tour delivery
coordinate closely with the sales and operations teams to convert leads into bookings
ensure tours comply with regulatory requirements and safety standards
monitor feedback from travelers and implement continuous improvements
stay updated with international travel trends, emerging destinations, and airline policies
handle escalations and crisis management with professionalism and tact
requirements:
minimum 3 years of experience in outbound tours, preferably in a leadership or itinerary-focused role
strong grasp of international destinations, travel documentation, and pricing strategies
excellent negotiation skills and vendor management experience
proficient in using gds tools and travel crm platforms
strong communication, multitasking, and interpersonal skills
ability to work under pressure and meet tight timelines
preferred qualifications:
bachelor��s degree in tourism, hospitality, or related field
certification in iata or equivalent
language proficiency in hindi, bengali, and english
