Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly driven and technically proficient Sales Engineer to join our team in Nashik. The ideal candidate will leverage their engineering expertise combined with strong sales skills to effectively present and sell our [Specify Products/Services, ., industrial automation solutions, specialized machinery, software platforms, IT infrastructure, power electronics, precision components, test & measurement equipment] to B2B clients. This role involves understanding complex technical requirements, providing tailored solutions, conducting product demonstration, and collaborating with the sales team to achieve ambitious sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Sales & Consultation:
Act as the primary technical point of contact during the sales process, providing in-depth product knowledge and technical expertise to potential customers.
Understand customer technical challenges, requirements, and business objectives through thorough needs analysis and discussions.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and compelling value propositions for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Recommend optimal product/solution configurations and specifications to meet customer needs.
Product Demonstration & Presentation:
Conduct compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, and Proof-of-Concept (POC) sessions to potential clients.
Showcase product features, benefits, and competitive advantages effectively.
Sales Support & Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with the core sales team (Sales Executives/Managers) to develop comprehensive sales strategies and account plans.
Assist in preparing technical proposals, quotations, and tender responses, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer requirements.
Address technical objections and provide persuasive counter-arguments during the sales cycle.
Participate in sales calls and client meetings as the technical expert.
Market Intelligence & Product Feedback:
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, competitor offerings, and technological advancements relevant to our product portfolio.
Gather market intelligence and customer feedback on product performance and future requirements, relaying insights to the product development and marketing teams.
Training & Development:
Provide product training and technical updates to the internal sales team, channel partners, and sometimes to client teams post-sale.
Continuously enhance personal technical knowledge and sales skills.
Post-Sales Technical Liaison (Optional, depends on company structure):
Act as a technical liaison between the customer and post-sales support/service teams to ensure smooth product implementation and customer satisfaction.
