job overview:

we are hiring dynamic and self-driven field sales executives to promote and sell our range of solidworks products3dexperience, simulation, and desktop versionsto customers across mumbai and nearby regions. each product line represents a unique solution for different engineering needs, and we are looking for professionals with the ability to understand technical products and translate their benefits to clients.

key responsibilities:

lead generation & prospecting:

identify and qualify potential customers through field visits, cold calling, networking, and online platforms.

schedule and conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.

product-specific sales focus:

solidworks 3dexperience: focus on cloud-based collaborative product development solutions.

solidworks simulation: promote engineering analysis tools for fea, cfd, and design validation.

solidworks desktop: cater to core cad needs for mechanical design and drafting.

solution selling:

understand customer requirements and offer product recommendations based on their needs.

work with the technical team for product demos, pocs, and solution presentations.

sales closure & reporting:

prepare and send proposals/quotes, negotiate terms, and close sales orders.

maintain accurate records in crm and share weekly progress reports with the sales manager.

client relationship management:

build strong post-sales relationships for upselling/cross-selling opportunities.

collaborate with the technical and support teams for implementation follow-up.

candidate profile:

education:

diploma/degree in mechanical, production, or related engineering fields.

mba in marketing or sales is highly preferred.

experience:

13 years of b2b field sales experience in technical/engineering/it products.

freshers with strong technical aptitude and interest in sales may also apply.

technical skills:

basic understanding of cad/cae tools or engineering software is a plus.

knowledge of solidworks or similar platforms is highly desirable.

soft skills:

excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.

willingness to travel across mumbai, thane, and navi mumbai.
