- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of collection/finance executives, fostering commitment and capability through structured routines and performance reviews
- Set clear targets, monitor KPIs, and ensure team efficiency meets organizational standards
- Oversee daily collections or finance operations, ensuring performance targets (like DSO, cash recovery, error rates) are consistently met .
- Analyze performance and aging data, identify improvement areas, and implement strategies to boost collection efficiency and reduce credit losses
- Design and deliver training to enhance team’s technical skills and regulatory awareness
- Conduct coaching sessions and performance appraisals to maintain high service standards
- Ensure team adherence to company policies and financial regulations
- Manage escalations—review complex or high-risk accounts and resolve issues promptly and accurately
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on team outcomes, performance metrics, and trend analysis to senior management.
- Collaborate with departments such as Legal, Credit Control, Operations, and Customer Service to resolve disputes and streamline workflows
- Drive initiatives to refine collection/finance processes—introduce automation, optimize resource allocation, and manage vendor relationships
- Support credit control frameworks and contribute to cost-efficiency and risk mitigation .
- Foster a positive work environment, motivate the team, manage conflicts, and promote professional development
