Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our manpower recruitment agency. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in acquiring new clients, managing key accounts, and growing business in the recruitment and staffing industry. You will play a key role in driving revenue, building long-term client relationships, and positioning the company as a preferred recruitment partner across sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
● Client Acquisition & Lead Generation:
o Identify and pursue new business opportunities across industries (IT, non-IT, BFSI, FMCG, Manufacturing, etc.)
o Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital platforms
o Conduct client meetings, presentations, and pitch recruitment services effectively
● Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with HR heads, decision-makers, and hiring managers
o Manage key accounts and ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention
● Sales Strategy & Execution:
o Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets
o Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities
● Collaboration & Coordination:
o Work closely with the internal recruitment delivery team to ensure timely and quality candidate submissions
o Collaborate with marketing for branding, campaigns, and visibility in the recruitment space
● Reporting & Documentation:
o Maintain accurate records of business development activities, client interactions, and pipeline status
o Prepare weekly/monthly reports for management review
Key Requirements:
● Minimum 5 years of business development experience in the staffing/recruitment/HR consultancy industry
● Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
● Strong understanding of recruitment lifecycle, staffing models, and client requirements
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Proficient in MS Office, CRM tools, and LinkedIn/networking platforms
Preferred Qualifications:
● Graduate or MBA in HR/Marketing or related field
● Prior experience in both permanent and contract staffing business is a plus
● Exposure to corporate/B2B sales in recruitment services
