Job Description

- Conduct thorough inspections of heavy machinery, including bulldozers, excavators, cranes, and loaders, to identify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.

- Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and system diagnostics to ensure optimal equipment performance.

- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other components of heavy machinery.

- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents and injuries.

- Report equipment status, maintenance needs, and repair progress to supervisors and management.

- Provide on-site support at job locations, performing emergency repairs and troubleshooting equipment failures.

- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and project managers to assess equipment performance and determine repair needs.

- Provide guidance and training to junior mechanics and equipment operators, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance team performance.

- Test and adjust equipment settings and controls to ensure proper operation and adherence to specifications.
