a retail sales associate at kharwar enterprises is responsible for assisting customers, managing stock, and maintaining the stores excellent standards of customer service and organization. the role includes guiding customers to select the right hardware, paints, and gypsum pop products, handling transactions, and supporting daily shop operations.

key responsibilities

greet customers, understand their needs, and provide product recommendations for hardware, paints, and gypsum pop materials.

assist with loading and unloading stock, maintaining organized and attractive product displays.

operate the cash register, process sales, and handle basic billing and receipts.

monitor product inventory, alert management about low stock, and restock shelves as needed.

support store cleanliness, safety, and security at all times.

stay informed about current deals, offers, and product features to help promote sales.

provide after-sales support and help resolve basic customer concerns.

required qualifications

prior experience in retail, especially hardware, home improvement, or building materials is preferred.

good communication and interpersonal skills for positive customer interactions.

ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

physically able to handle loading/unloading stock (may involve lifting moderate weights).

desired skills
