Job Description

- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple properties or investment entities.

- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and provide recommendations for improvements in property performance .

- Oversee the general ledger accounting process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.

- Ensure proper documentation and classification of transactions related to property operations, leasing, and financing .

- Review CAM reconciliations prepared by third-party property management and prepare CAM reconciliations for in-house managed properties .

- Oversee the property-related accounts payable and receivable processes.

- Monitor income and expenses to ensure compatibility with budgeted amounts.

- Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with tax regulations and optimize tax strategies for real estate transactions.

- Implement and maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.

- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance on technical matters, professional development, and performance management.
