Responsibilities:
Sales Process Support:
Assist the sales team in preparing sales proposals, presentations, quotations, and contracts.
Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and verified.
Coordinate with production, logistics, and dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery of products/services to clients.
Track order status and keep clients and the sales team informed of any delays or issues.
Client Communication & Relationship Management:
Act as a primary point of contact for routine client inquiries (phone, email) and provide prompt and accurate information regarding products, services, pricing, and order status.
Handle minor client concerns and escalate complex issues to the appropriate sales representative or manager.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in all client interactions.
Data Management & Reporting:
Maintain and update customer records, sales data, and activities accurately in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system (., Salesforce, Zoho CRM, custom CRM).
Generate and prepare various sales reports (., sales performance, pipeline status, client interactions, order backlogs) for the sales team and management.
Assist in analyzing sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Administrative Support:
Manage sales team schedules, coordinate meetings, and arrange client visits.
Organize and maintain an accessible filing system for all sales-related documents, contracts, and correspondence (both physical and digital).
Ensure the adequacy of sales-related materials, such as brochures, product catalogs, samples, and promotional items.
Assist in organizing promotional events or trade shows as required.
Internal Coordination:
Liaise effectively with other departments (., Marketing, Accounts, Production, Customer Service) to ensure seamless workflows and resolve inter-departmental issues impacting sales.
Facilitate communication to ensure brand consistency and aligned efforts across the organization.
Local Communication:
Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Fluency in Marathi and Hindi is essential for local market interaction. Good English proficiency is required for documentation, email communication, and interaction with a broader professional network.
