The Quality Assurance (QA) Executive plays a pivotal role in ensuring that all products, processes, and systems consistently meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. Based in Nashik, this role involves implementing and maintaining the company's Quality Management System (QMS), conducting audits, analyzing quality data, and collaborating with various departments to drive continuous improvement initiatives and uphold the highest levels of product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management System (QMS) Implementation & Maintenance:
Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's QMS, ensuring adherence to relevant international standards (., ISO 9001, or specific industry standards like ISO for Medical Devices, IATF for Automotive, GMP for Pharma/Food).
Ensure all quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation are up-to-date, controlled, and readily accessible.
Conduct internal audits to assess QMS effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Process & Product Compliance:
Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with established quality control plans, specifications, and regulatory guidelines.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement quality checks at critical stages of the manufacturing process.
Verify the quality of incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished products by reviewing inspection reports and conducting spot checks.
Root Cause Analysis & Corrective/Preventive Actions (CAPA):
Investigate customer complaints, non-conformities, and quality deviations thoroughly.
Lead or participate in root cause analysis (RCA) using tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, etc.
Propose, implement, and verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to eliminate recurring issues.
Documentation & Reporting:
Prepare detailed quality reports, including trend analysis of defects, non-conformities, and quality performance metrics.
Maintain comprehensive records of quality data, audit findings, CAPAs, and product releases for traceability and external audits.
Assist in preparing documentation for regulatory submissions or certifications.
Supplier Quality Management:
Support supplier qualification processes by reviewing supplier quality data and certifications.
Monitor the quality performance of suppliers and escalate issues as needed.
Training & Awareness:
Assist in conducting quality awareness training for employees across different departments to foster a culture of quality.
Continuous Improvement:
Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives (., Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma projects) to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
Propose and implement improvements to quality procedures and systems.
