As the Project Manager �� PEB, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end management of Pre-Engineered Building projects, ensuring successful delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves comprehensive oversight from project initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure. You'll lead cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, handle vendor coordination, and ensure adherence to all safety and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Project Planning & Strategy:
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with sales, engineering, and clients.
Develop detailed project plans, including work breakdown structures (WBS), schedules, resource allocation, and budget estimates specific to PEB projects.
Identify potential risks, challenges, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies.
Establish clear project governance, communication protocols, and reporting structures.
Execution & Oversight:
Lead and motivate project teams (including design, detailing, fabrication, and erection teams) to ensure efficient and timely execution.
Monitor project progress against the schedule and budget, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions.
Oversee the procurement of materials and services, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
Coordinate on-site activities, including site preparation, material delivery, and erection sequences, in collaboration with site engineers and supervisors.
Manage change orders, scope creep, and unexpected issues, ensuring proper documentation and client approval.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage client expectations, address concerns promptly, and ensure client satisfaction.
Provide regular project updates and progress reports to clients and internal stakeholders.
Quality & Safety Assurance:
Ensure all project activities comply with quality standards, engineering specifications, and contractual requirements.
Implement and enforce stringent safety protocols on-site, conducting regular safety audits and promoting a safety-first culture.
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and environmental standards (., IS codes for steel structures).
Financial Management:
Monitor project expenditures, track costs, and manage billing cycles.
Ensure project profitability by managing resources efficiently and controlling costs.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, drawings, reports, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
Prepare and submit accurate project status reports, financial summaries, and forecasts to senior management.
