Job Description

Responsibilities:

Overall Plant Management (Shahada Focus): Oversee and manage all aspects of the production operations in the Shahada plant, including production planning, execution, maintenance, quality control, and logistics.

Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement detailed production plans and schedules to meet customer demand, optimize resource utilization, and minimize downtime.

Team Leadership and Development (Shahada Workforce): Lead, mentor, and develop a team of production supervisors, engineers, and operators within the Shahada facility. Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work environment, considering local work culture.

Quality Assurance and Control: Establish and maintain robust quality control systems and procedures to ensure products meet required standards. Implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues, considering local material quality and supplier capabilities.

Safety and Compliance (Local Regulations): Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and legal requirements applicable in Maharashtra and India. Promote a strong safety culture within the factory, taking into account local safety awareness levels.

Resource Management and Optimization: Manage and optimize the utilization of all resources, including manpower, materials, equipment, and energy, to achieve production targets and cost efficiency within the Shahada context.

Budget Management and Cost Control: Develop and manage the production budget, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures relevant to the local economic environment.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Drive continuous improvement initiatives through the implementation of lean manufacturing principles, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or other relevant methodologies, adapting them to the specific challenges and opportunities in the Shahada plant.
