Procurement Engineer

Identifying potential suppliers and building relationships with them.

Developing and implementing procurement strategies and plans to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and services.

Conducting market research and supplier assessments to identify new sourcing opportunities and evaluate supplier performance.

Analyzing data and making recommendations for improving procurement processes and reducing costs.

Negotiating and drafting contracts with suppliers, including terms and conditions, pricing, and delivery schedules.

Ensuring that all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that materials and components meet technical specifications, quality standards, and delivery requirements.

Maintaining accurate records and reports related to procurement activities, such as purchase orders, supplier performance, and inventory levels.

Continuously monitoring market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.

Participating in the development and implementation of supplier performance metrics and improvement plans.

The ideal candidate for this role should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, along with experience in procurement, sourcing, and supply chain management. Strong analytical and negotiation skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are also essential.
