Job Description

Data Entry & Record Keeping:

Accurately enter, verify, and reconcile financial transactions into our accounting software (., Tally, QuickBooks, or basic ERP modules).

Maintain organized and systematic financial records, including invoices, receipts, and bank statements.

Process and file accounts payable (vendor invoices) and accounts receivable (customer payments).

Reconciliations & Verification:

Assist with bank reconciliations, ensuring consistency between bank statements and company records.

Verify the accuracy of financial data and resolve simple discrepancies under supervision.

Support in reconciling petty cash and employee expense reports.

Accounts Payable & Receivable Support:

Help prepare and process invoices for customers and assist with following up on outstanding payments.

Support the preparation of payment runs for vendors and address basic vendor inquiries.

General Accounting Support:

Assist in the preparation of journal entries and basic financial schedules under the guidance of senior staff.

Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by gathering necessary documentation and data.

Handle general administrative tasks for the finance department, such as photocopying, scanning, and digital filing.

Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure proper documentation is maintained for all financial transactions for audit readiness.

Assist with basic tax-related documentation (., collecting data for GST, TDS filings).

Collaboration:

Work closely with senior accountants and other team members to ensure smooth financial operations.

Communicate effectively with internal departments regarding basic financial queries.
