Our client, a manufacturing company specializing in mesh solutions for industrial and mining applications, is seeking a proactive General Manager €“ Operations to establish and optimize administrative systems, lead support staff, and ensure efficient cross-departmental operations. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
€¢ Set up and implement administrative systems, office procedures, and company policies
€¢ Manage office supplies, equipment, and facility maintenance
€¢ Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
€¢ Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining employee records
€¢ Oversee attendance, leave tracking, payroll coordination, and benefits administration
€¢ Support HR policy implementation and employee engagement activities
€¢ Establish and maintain documentation for production, inventory, purchasing, and sales
€¢ Maintain organized records of licenses, permits, contracts, and certifications (., ISO, MSHA)
€¢ Coordinate with the accounting team for petty cash, invoicing, and expense tracking
€¢ Manage vendor and supplier coordination with proper procurement documentation
€¢ Liaise with logistics partners for raw material intake and finished product dispatch
€¢ Maintain stock control and support inventory system updates
€¢ Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting documentation
€¢ Serve as the primary contact for internal and external administrative communication
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
€¢ Bachelor€™s degree in Engineering with an MBA.
€¢ Minimum 5 years€™ administrative experience, ideally in manufacturing or industrial settings
€¢ Strong leadership, organizational, and time management abilities
€¢ Familiar with factory operations, HSE standards, and production environments
€¢ Proficient in MS Office; ERP system experience is a plus
€¢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
€¢ Experience setting up administrative processes in start-up or new operations
€¢ Knowledge of regulatory requirements in manufacturing, especially in mining or industrial sectors
€¢ Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
