The Canteen Manager will:

- hold appropriate qualifications and/or have the skills and knowledge through experience in similar

positions, ideally in a school environment

- demonstrate high levels of personal integrity and professionalism

- have demonstrated ability to lead, plan, organise and control the day-to-day operations of a

canteen.

- have demonstrated ability to build moral, motivate and generally relate well to students, other

staff and the community

- have up-to-date knowledge of, and experience with, food handling and food safety guidelines and

requirements

- be innovative and open to applying sustainable practices in delivering the canteen.

- be highly organised with the ability to multi-task and work to strict deadlines
