- Diagnose vehicle systems using advanced diagnostic tools to identify mechanical, electrical, transmission, brake, steering, AC, and electronic faults.
- Perform routine maintenance: oil and filter changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, brake inspections, belt and spark plug replacements, and preventive maintenance.
- Repair and replace components—including engines, transmissions, cooling systems, electrical wiring, sensors, and electronic modules—ensuring they meet manufacturer standards.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and safety/emissions tests, then recommend and execute necessary repairs.
- Test components through test driving and bench testing to verify repair completeness and ensure performance and safety.
- Maintain detailed service records: document diagnostics, procedures, parts, labor time, and costs.
- Communicate with customers and advisors, clearly explaining issues, repair options, costs, and timelines.
- Uphold workplace safety and compliance, following company policies, using PPE, and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
- Collaborate within the service team, supporting senior techs with complex jobs and assisting others when needed.
- Stay current with automotive technologies, including EV and hybrid systems, new diagnostic platforms, and continuing education.
