key responsibilities:
�� perform day-to-day bookkeeping using quickbooks online and/or xero
�� record and categorize financial transactions (sales, purchases, payments, etc.)
�� reconcile bank and credit card accounts regularly
�� manage accounts payable and receivable
�� process client payroll using platforms like adp, gusto, or wagepoint
�� assist in payroll tax filing and reporting (us/canada)
�� handle sales tax/gst/hst filing as per respective state/province regulations
�� support monthly and year-end closing procedures
�� maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
�� communicate with team leaders and respond to client queries professionally

requirements:
�� bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
�� 1��2 years of hands-on experience in us/canadian bookkeeping
�� experience with quickbooks online and/or xero is required
�� knowledge of payroll processing and payroll tax filings (usa/canada)
