● conduct market research to identify potential clients and market segments in the iot/ict
sector(information and communication technology) , predominantly in the public sector
for business expansion.
● proactively generate new leads through various channels such as referrals, pre-existing
contacts, networking, email campaigns etc.
● engage with prospective clients to understand their requirements and pain points.
● present the company's software and hardware solutions to clients, showcasing their value
and benefits.
● negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of agreements.
● collaborate with the technical team to develop tailored proposals and solutions for clients.
● coordinate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and product development to align
strategies and deliver effective solutions.
● conduct regular meetings, presentations, and reviews with clients to ensure client
satisfaction and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
● act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and escalations until the
award of project
● provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to
management.
● stay updated with industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies in the software

qualifications:
● any bachelor degree.
● 2-5 years of experience in business development.
technical skills:
● proven experience as a business development associate or similar role in the software and
hardware technologies sector.
● strong understanding of software and hardware technologies, industry trends, and market
dynamics.
● excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and
influence clients.
● strong negotiation and presentation skills.
● proficiency in crm software and ms office suite.
