Job Description

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial health.

- Monitor and report on project costs, ensuring alignment with budgets and identifying variances.

- Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed, cost-effective budgets for construction projects.

- Track and control project expenditures, ensuring they remain within approved budgets.

- Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and promptly.

- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with clients and vendors to ensure timely collections.

- Process payroll for employees and contractors, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

- Manage vendor and subcontractor payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations, including VAT and GST filings.

- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and provide recommendations for minimizing tax liabilities.

- Monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for project operations.

- Forecast future financial needs and develop strategies to meet them.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records to support internal and external audits.

- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.

- Utilize accounting software (., Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems) to record and manage financial transactions.

- Generate financial reports and forecasts using financial management systems.

- Provide financial information and analysis to senior management for decision-making.
