VAT and Year-end Accounts Specialist in Okhla,New Delhi

Key ResponsibiliÆŸes

ï‚· VAT Compliance:

o Prepare and submit VAT returns accurately and on ÆŸme, ensuring compliance with

UK VAT laws.

o Handle VAT-related queries, reconciliaÆŸons, and adjustments.

o Advise clients on VAT treatment for various transacÆŸons.

ï‚· Year-End Accounts PreparaÆŸon:

o Prepare statutory year-end accounts in compliance with UK accounÆŸng standards

(FRS 102, FRS 105).

o Reconcile accounts, prepare working papers, and liaise with clients to resolve

discrepancies.

o Assist in finalizing accounts for submission to Companies House and HMRC.

ï‚· Client CommunicaÆŸon:

o Collaborate closely with UK-based clients to understand their accounÆŸng needs.

o Provide regular updates and address queries related to VAT and year-end accounts.

ï‚· Process Improvement:

o IdenÆŸfy and implement best pracÆŸces to streamline VAT and accounts preparaÆŸon

processes.

o Stay updated on changes in UK tax and accounÆŸng regulaÆŸons.

QualificaÆŸons and Skills

ï‚· A minimum of 3 years of work experience in VAT compliance and year-end accounts

preparaÆŸon, preferably for UK clients.

ï‚· Strong knowledge of UK VAT laws and regulaÆŸons.

ï‚· Proficiency in preparing accounts under FRS 102 and FRS 105.

ï‚· Experience with accounÆŸng soÅŒware such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or other UK-specific

plaÆžorms.

ï‚· Excellent communicaÆŸon and interpersonal skills.

 Strong aƩenƟon to detail and ability to manage mulƟple clients efficiently.
