responsibilities:
* recruiting top-notch information technology (it) candidates to fill our client requirements (nation-wide)
* querying job board databases for candidate resumes. reviewing the resumes and qualifying candidates
* conduct phone screens, and schedule and face-to-face interviews for candidates
* format candidate resumes and submit them to hiring managers via the vendor portals
* uploading and updating information into corporate back office application while utilizing our systems to track opportunities and candidates
* participate in weekly meetings, provide feedback and updates on open positions and active candidates
* manage relationships with existing clients by identifying needs and/or issues
* development of strong relationships with your candidate pool of resources
* develop and maintain relationships with local universities and colleges
* perform salary/rate negotiations while meeting company*s goals
* conduct reference checks as needed
qualifications:
* 3+ years of experience as an it technical recruiter
* excellent communication skills
* must have on all us or india hiring (domestic) experience.
* must know the various work usa visa backgrounds (l1, h1, opt, gc etc)
* must be adept in creative recruiting through networking, social media and traditional recruiting methods.
* must have a proven track record of recruiting through cold calling, as well as lead generation, and have experience in interview preparation, placement and closing.
* ability to assess candidate's technical ability; identify and match candidate's behavioral traits
* must be a self-motivated, results-oriented individual with a positive get-it-done attitude.
* must be able to take a proactive position in understanding client needs and corporate partnering.
* must be determined to succeed, and willing to work hard.
* must have good general computer skills including the ms office suite.
