Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Performance:
Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Manage store budget, control expenses, and optimize profitability.
Drive promotions and marketing initiatives within the store to maximize sales.
Team Leadership & Management:
Recruit, train, coach, and motivate a high-performing team of sales associates and store staff.
Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
Create a positive, engaging, and productive work environment.
Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and adherence to company policies.
Customer Experience Excellence:
Ensure the delivery of outstanding customer service that meets and exceeds customer expectations.
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints effectively and professionally to ensure resolution and satisfaction.
Foster a customer-centric culture among all store staff.
Inventory Management & Merchandising:
Oversee inventory levels, stock rotation, and ensure accurate stock counts to minimize shrinkage.
Implement effective visual merchandising strategies to ensure the store is aesthetically appealing, products are well-displayed, and promotions are highlighted.
Manage incoming and outgoing merchandise, including receiving, processing, and dispatch.
Store Operations & Compliance:
Ensure smooth daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security protocols.
Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, organization, and upkeep.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and relevant local laws and regulations (., consumer protection, labor laws, GST).
Manage store safety and security measures.
Reporting & Communication:
Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, inventory reports, and other operational reports as required by management.
Communicate effectively with the Area Manager, head office departments, and vendors.
Local Market Understanding:
Understand the local customer preferences, cultural nuances, and market dynamics specific to Latur to tailor sales approaches and product offerings.
Communicate clearly and effectively with customers and staff. Fluency in Marathi and Hindi is essential for local market interaction. Good English proficiency is required for reporting and corporate communication.
