Job Description

financial reporting: prepare and review accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with indian gaap/ifrs.

general ledger management: oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled.

account reconciliations: perform complex account reconciliations for various balance sheet and income statement accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.

month-end/year-end close: lead and execute timely and efficient month-end and year-end close processes.

audit preparation: prepare audit schedules and liaise with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

tax compliance: assist in the preparation of various tax filings (., gst, tds, income tax) and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.

budgeting & forecasting support: support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing accurate financial data and analysis.

process improvement: identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen internal controls.

financial analysis: conduct financial analysis to support management decisions, identify trends, and provide insights into financial performance.

team collaboration: collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues and provide financial information as needed.

mentorship (if applicable): guide and mentor junior accounting staff, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and company policies.
