Job Description

ROV Engineers operate and maintain underwater or industrial robots (ROVs – Remotely Operated Vehicles) for inspection, data collection, or maintenance in hazardous or inaccessible areas.

🎓 Qualifications:

• Diploma / . / in Electrical, Civil, Electronics, Instrumentation, IT, or Mechatronics

• Candidates with marine/industrial robotics exposure preferred

📜 Diploma/Certifications:

• ROV Pilot Technician (IMCA-recognized)

• STCW (Basic Safety Training – marine ops)

• PLC/SCADA knowledge, Basic Networking, Remote Monitoring Systems

🧠 Skills Required:

• Troubleshooting of electronic circuits, motors, hydraulics

• Hands-on knowledge of underwater sensors, fiber optics, sonar, and cabling

• Data handling, video logging, and mission reporting

• Field adaptability and safety awareness

• Communication with project teams and clients
