key responsibilities:

1. maintenance & repair:

o perform routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, machines, and equipment.

o diagnose mechanical issues and execute repairs using appropriate tools and techniques.

o dismantle, repair, and reassemble defective equipment components.

2. installation & upgrades:

o assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.

o upgrade or modify mechanical systems to improve efficiency and performance.

3. troubleshooting & diagnostics:

o identify and troubleshoot faults in mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

o use diagnostic tools and technical manuals to determine faults and suggest solutions.

4. safety & compliance:

o adhere to workplace safety regulations, ensuring safe working conditions.

o follow company policies and industry standards in all maintenance activities.

o participate in risk assessments and implement corrective actions.

5. documentation & reporting:

o maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.

o report major breakdowns, spare part requirements, and potential risks to supervisors.

6. collaboration & support:

o work closely with the electrical and production teams to ensure equipment availability.

o train junior technicians or operators on basic maintenance procedures.
