role overview
we are seeking a passionate and driven deep learning & computer vision engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced ai models and computer vision solutions. this role offers the opportunity to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced startup environment and contribute directly to the development of cutting-edge ai products.
key responsibilities:
develop deep learning models for image classification, object detection, segmentation, and tracking.
build computer vision pipelines for real-time applications and automation systems.
research and implement state-of-the-art ai techniques from research papers into production-ready solutions.
deploy, monitor, and optimize models in cloud environments such as aws, gcp, or azure.
work with large datasets, applying data augmentation and preprocessing techniques.
collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ai solutions into products.
maintain deployed models, ensuring reliability and performance.
mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing and growth.
required skills & qualifications
experience: 35 years in deep learning or computer vision development.
programming: expert-level python proficiency with frameworks like tensorflow, pytorch, and keras.
computer vision: strong understanding of opencv and related algorithms.
neural networks: hands-on experience with architectures such as cnns, yolo, resnet, and transformers.
cloud deployment: experience with aws, gcp, or azure.
mlops: familiarity with docker, git, ci/cd pipelines, and production deployment.
education: bachelors or masters degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline.
preferred qualifications:
experience with robotics frameworks such as ros.
knowledge of model optimization techniques (quantization, pruning).
edge deployment experience using tensorflow lite, onnx.
prior experience in a startup environment.
contributions to open-source projects or published research papers.
