Job Description

cargo agent responsibilities:

1. loading and unloading cargo from trucks, aircraft, and other vehicles.

2. ensuring proper documentation and labeling of all cargo shipments.

3. organizing and arranging cargo in the warehouse for efficient storage and retrieval.

4. communicating with airline and ground crew to coordinate the timely and safe transport of cargo.

5. inspecting cargo for damage and discrepancies, reporting any issues to supervisors.

6. operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to handle.
