Job Description

A Business Development Officer (BDO) is a professional responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for a company. The role typically involves the following responsibilities:

Conducting market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and industry trends

Building and maintaining relationships with potential customers, partners, and stakeholders

Developing and implementing business development strategies and plans

Generating leads and conducting sales presentations to potential customers

Negotiating and closing business deals

Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, and product development

Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the competition

Managing and tracking business development budgets and expenses

Reporting on business development progress and results to upper management
