- design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in your discipline, following university-approved syllabi and pedagogical standards.

- support departmental leadership (., hod) in administrative matters including scheduling, policy implementation, infrastructure planning, and workload distribution.

- mentor junior faculty and teaching assistants; take part in faculty orientation, induction, and professional development programs

- lead initiatives like seminars, workshops, conferences, guest lectures to enhance academic outreach.

- contribute strategically to departmental planning, curriculum enhancement, and program innovation.

- build industry partnerships for internships, collaborative projects, invited guest lectures, and consultancy opportunities.

- engage in community service, local outreach, and extension activities through departmental or university initiatives.

- assist in academic and non-academic functions such as procurement, maintenance of labs/equipment, departmental budgeting and infrastructure support.

- oversee co-curricular and extra-curricular events, student clubs, and involvement in university-wide programs.
