- Maintain accurate records of all day-to-day financial transactions related to sales, purchases, expenses, and payments.
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are properly recorded.
- Manage vendor payments and monitor outstanding invoices.
- Track receivables from dealerships, service centers, and customers to ensure timely collection.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and ensure consistency between bank statements and books of accounts.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the preparation and timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support audits and tax assessments.
- Coordinate with the warehouse and production teams to account for inventory and valuation of automotive parts and finished vehicles.
- Support costing and margin analysis for various models and components.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist with period-end closing procedures and ensure all necessary adjustments are recorded.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial data and documentation.
- Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial accuracy.
- Assist the finance team in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
- Monitor actual spending vs. budget and report variances.
- Maintain and update the fixed assets register, including acquisition, depreciation, and disposal entries.
- Liaise with sales, procurement, logistics, and HR teams to ensure smooth financial processes and data flow.
- Provide financial insights for decision-making where required.
