Job Description

on-site assessment: conduct on-site visits to msme units to evaluate their manufacturing processes, quality control measures, and environmental management systems. this involves checking for adherence to the zed parameters.

documentation and reporting: verify and collect all necessary documentation and data, often through a digital application. they are responsible for submitting a comprehensive assessment report directly to the quality council of india (qci).

gap analysis and guidance: identify gaps in the msme's processes and guide how to improve and meet the zed standards. while they don't provide direct consulting, they serve as a facilitator to help the msme prepare for a successful certification audit.

compliance and standards: ensure that all assessments are conducted in a fair, professional, and ethical manner, adhering to the guidelines set by the qci.

surveillance audits: conduct follow-up or surveillance assessments for companies that have already achieved zed certification to ensure they are maintaining and progressing their standards.
