Platform patrols: During busy times, patrolling platforms to check the validity of tickets
Coach oversight: Overseeing a coach to ensure it doesn't exceed its carrying capacity
Passenger assistance: Helping passengers find their seats, get food and refreshments, and move heavy luggage
Coach cleanliness: Ensuring the coach is clean and well-maintained
Reservations: Checking the reservation status and maintaining records
Dues collection: Collecting reservation fares and supplementary charges
Uniform: Wearing a clean and neat uniform with a badge, name plate, and number
Duty hours: Reporting to duty at least one hour before a train's departure at the originating station and at least half an hour before its arrival at an intermediate station
