qualification - mch / dnb in surgical oncology
surgical management & clinical duties:
perform diagnostic and therapeutic oncologic surgeries across various organ systems (., breast, gastrointestinal, head & neck, soft tissue, gynecologic).
evaluate and assess cancer patients for surgical intervention.
plan and execute complex cancer surgeries with a focus on precision, safety, and outcomes.
manage preoperative and postoperative care, including surgical complications.
coordinate with medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and radiologists for multidisciplinary treatment planning.
patient communication & counseling:
provide clear and compassionate consultations on surgical options, risks, and benefits.
educate patients and families about surgical procedures, expected outcomes, and recovery plans.
support patients throughout their cancer journey with empathy and professionalism.
documentation & compliance:
maintain detailed, timely, and accurate medical and surgical records.
ensure adherence to hospital protocols, infection control, and ethical guidelines.
participate in tumor boards and contribute to evidence-based treatment discussions.
