durchgeplant, structural engineering department of the fast growing German Technology Company J&F, are seeking a Jr. Structural Engineer for our international structural engineering team to design precast concrete structures using the BIM method. Supporting the Sr. Engineer by preparing sketches and performing calculations under his guidance

Performing structural analysis and design for (precast) concrete structures / elements according to Eurocode

Studying and reviewing the given Input (Architectural / structural drawings, design loads, geotechnical report etc.)

Perform applicable design checks like section, capacity, shear, torsion, deflection, SAT-check, prestress etc.

Check precast elements for various design stages

Design of precast connections (wet and dry)

Create reinforcement details

Reinforcement detailing of special items (corbels, nibs, dapped ends etc.)

Preparation of detailed engineering report for submission

Other responsibilities

Providing engineering input to the Draftsmen & Detailers

Controlling output of a team of Draftsmen and Detailers as per project plan

Supervising & Ensuring that correct engineering input is being followed by the detailing teams.

Checking of BIM Model, General Arrangement drawings and Shop Drawings

Initiation of continuous improvement measures for the established workflow
