Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SolidWorks Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and designing 3D models, assemblies, and drawings using SolidWorks software. They will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to develop innovative designs and product solutions for a wide range of industries.

Responsibilities:

Create and design 3D models, assemblies, and drawings using SolidWorks software.

Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop innovative designs and product solutions for a wide range of industries.

Analyze engineering sketches, specifications, and related data to determine design factors, such as size, shape, and arrangement of parts.

Develop and maintain design documentation, including BOMs, assembly instructions, and product manuals.

Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve product quality and performance.

Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet production requirements.

Stay up-to-date with the latest SolidWorks features, techniques, and industry trends.

Mentor junior designers and provide guidance and support as needed.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

3+ years of experience as a SolidWorks Designer or similar role.

Strong proficiency in SolidWorks software, including 3D modelling, assembly design, and drawing creation.

Experience designing mechanical and electromechanical products for a wide range of industries.

Knowledge of engineering principles and practices, including materials science, mechanics, and thermodynamics.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
