Software Developer

About role:

Developing and installing software solutions.

Designing, implementing, and delivering high-quality Software projects in JAVA, SQL / Oracle, and JEE preferably on Newgen ECM / BPM platform.

The applicant will be working on a project for Singapore but working remotely from India.

Roles & Responsibilities

❑ Participate in detailed-level in design, coding, code walkthrough, peer code reviews, and unit testing, System Testing, UAT, Demos, POCs, installation, and maintenance of Software modules.

❑ Ensures the preparation of the following:

â–ª Software prototype

â–ª System Architecture

â–ª Software Design Document

â–ª User interfaces to be developed as per UX guidelines

â–ª Code files ensuring coding guidelines followed

â–ª Code review artifacts during peer code review

â–ª Test plan and Test Cases

â–ª Installation / Deployment document

â–ª Release Document/Technical Documentation

❑ Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts,

diagram, charts, code, comments, and clear code; Ensuring that project tasks are completed in defined effort and timelines

❑ Write technical specifications in Java/JEE and DB design, Java back end, Java UI, batch processes, etc)

❑ Testing: Writing of test cases, unit testing, system testing, negative testing of PMS domain systems

❑ Troubleshooting: Log analysis and database query optimization

❑ Contribute to the implementation of operational permanent control policies and procedures in the day-to-day business activities, such as Control Plan

❑ Perform quality reporting and controls in line with the Teams QACMP

❑ Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.

❑ Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying system flow, data usage, and work processes, investigating problem areas, and following the delivery cycle.
