Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and motivate our sales team in Nashik. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, achieving ambitious sales targets, expanding our market share, and building strong relationships with key clients and distributors. This role requires exceptional leadership, strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of market dynamics, and a proven track record of driving sales growth through team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and action plans to achieve company sales objectives and revenue targets for the assigned territory.
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and demand forecasting to identify new business opportunities and optimize sales efforts.
Set individual and team sales targets, allocate territories, and define performance metrics.
Team Leadership & Management:
Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team.
Provide continuous coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to sales executives, ensuring their professional development and target achievement.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-oriented team environment.
Conduct regular team meetings, review performance, and address challenges.
Target Achievement & Performance Monitoring:
Take overall responsibility for achieving regional/area sales targets and growth objectives.
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance against targets, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
Track key sales KPIs such as conversion rates, average deal size, new client acquisition, and customer retention.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, distributors, dealers, and channel partners.
Act as a point of escalation for complex client issues and ensure their resolution.
Identify and secure new key accounts, large projects, or strategic partnerships.
Sales Operations & Reporting:
Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation and closing.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities, pipeline status, forecasts, and market intelligence using CRM software.
Manage sales expenses within budget.
Market Intelligence & Feedback:
Gather and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to provide insights for product development and marketing strategies.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
