role overview
we are looking for a highly driven and experienced sales director – enterprise sales to spearhead our growth in the mumbai market. this leadership role is responsible for driving new business acquisition, managing strategic enterprise accounts, and building long-term relationships with senior stakeholders.
the sales director will play a pivotal role in positioning bluetree as the preferred saas partner for large enterprises by shaping sales strategies, leading negotiations, and ensuring revenue growth.
key responsibilities
develop and execute a strategic sales plan for acquiring and expanding enterprise accounts in mumbai.
identify, target, and engage cxo-level decision-makers across industries.
lead high-impact consultative sales presentations and solution demos, tailored to enterprise needs.
drive complex negotiations and contract closures, ensuring long-term client value.
build, mentor, and manage a high-performing enterprise sales team (as required).
collaborate cross-functionally with customer success, product, and marketing teams to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless onboarding.
maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management in the crm.
represent the company at industry events, forums, and client engagements to strengthen brand positioning.
foster long-term relationships with payroll software buyers and hr/payroll decision-makers to enhance retention and cross-sell opportunities.
act as the trusted advisor and point of contact for payroll saas clients, providing post-sale support and proactive issue resolution.
required qualifications
8–12 years of proven success in enterprise saas sales, with at least 3+ years’ experience in managing a team.
strong track record of achieving and exceeding annual sales targets (multi cr annually).
expertise in selling saas solutions, preferably in the hr space, to large enterprises, indian conglomerates and complex accounts.
excellent networking, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
strong business acumen with a consultative sales approach.
