Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanic to join our team. The Mechanic will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles or machinery, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

Inspection & Diagnosis:

Perform routine maintenance inspections on vehicles, equipment, or machinery to identify signs of wear, damage, or malfunction.

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using specialized testing equipment, diagnostic tools, and technical manuals.

Interpret diagnostic codes and troubleshoot complex problems.

Repair & Maintenance:

Execute repair work according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.

Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, filter replacements, and brake inspections.

Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems (., engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, hydraulics).

Adjust and tune components for optimal performance.

Documentation & Communication:

Accurately document all work performed, including parts used, time spent, and findings.

Communicate effectively with service advisors, supervisors, and customers regarding diagnostic findings, repair recommendations, and progress.

Provide clear explanations of repairs needed and completed.

Safety & Compliance:

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in the workshop.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Properly dispose of hazardous waste and used parts.

Ensure all repairs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Tool & Equipment Management:

Operate and maintain a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment.

Keep tools and equipment in good working condition.

Stay updated on new technologies and repair techniques.
