Job Summary:
As a Team lead - React Native at Marmeto, you will lead a team of developers to build high-performance, cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android. This role goes beyond individual contributionrequiring you to mentor team members, manage project timelines, ensure code quality, and work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in React Native and a minimum of 2 years of experience leading a team of at least 5 mobile developers.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of React Native developers, setting clear goals, reviewing code, and guiding them technically.
Drive sprint planning, task allocation, and delivery of mobile features within timelines.
Foster a strong engineering culture focused on quality, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders for requirement gathering and status updates.
Resolve team blockers, enforce best practices, and facilitate peer learning.
Technical Contribution:
Architect, develop, and maintain robust mobile applications using React Native.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers for pixel-perfect implementation.
Integrate with RESTful and GraphQL APIs from backend services.
Conduct performance tuning, memory optimization, and bug fixing.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and advocate their adoption when beneficial.
