Job Description

Use appropriate strategies to purchase the organization's needs at reasonable prices.

Discover suppliers, initiate contracting, and create business and organizational partnerships.

Negotiate with sellers to secure favorable price and quality terms.

Approval of the request for the necessary goods and services from the different departments.

Finalize the details of purchasing orders and delivery.

Examine and test existing contracts and ascertain contract renewal dates.

Follow up on requirements and submit reports on purchases and requirements.

Collaborate with different departments to ensure clarity of requirements and budgets.

Building and developing the purchasing department, setting purchasing plans and drawing up policies and procedures.

Presenting the needs of each department of raw materials and setting the appropriate budget.

Building and developing an annual plan for the requirements of the necessary raw materials.

Constant search for new suppliers of raw materials used in manufacturing or operation.

Building, developing and maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Make a periodic plan at the end of each year and update policies and procedures.

Building the various structures and models used in the Procurement Department.

Maintain files of internal and external purchase requisitions, quotations and contracts.

Constant communication with warehouse management regarding stock shortage, warehouse capacity, and stock turnover movement.

Preparing incoming orders from different departments, sending them to approved suppliers, and following them up until receiving them.

Reviewing suppliers' offers and responding to them affirmatively or rejecting them.

Monitor changes that appear on the prices of raw materials periodically.

Communicate with the party requesting the goods and follow up the required materials in a timely and appropriate manner.
