1. receiving purchase indents, studying the same and floating enquiries (if required).

2. providing costing/pricing information to sales (if not within budget).

3. releasing the purchase orders, after proper negotiation, with the suppliers / vendors.

4. carrying out review of order execution progress & updating section heads on the status periodically.

5. reconcile the pending order statements.

6. control on company property - issue & movement related to purchase activity.

7. monitoring stock levels to ensure the company has adequate supplies and to identify purchasing needs.

8. maintaining accurate records of purchases, invoices, and vendor information.
